Thanks! I'm actually planning on submitting the first one of Shippo, along with a dozen others, to the "Fluffy Power" calendar - a calendar that's exclusively for Fluffy corgis, Pembroke and Cardigan. He made it in for this year, so I figure why not try again! =3

I don't see how slower connections will make photos any more difficult to view in their own separate forum than they are to view here in the general forum. And besides, if there is a thread with a bunch of gigantic photos, I thought it was customary to put "Warning - Image Heavy" on the ou...

LOL! That reminds me of when I first got Eevee and she saw a STUMP and spooked over it. Dogs are so funny.

I've gotta say, when I'm financially stable again, I plan on getting a show pup from the same breeder I got Shippo from, and showing and finishing him (I already know I want a boy). I'm all for showing and breeding responsibly with proper health tests and everything. I've got nothing against dog sho...

Yay, Snow Dog Pics!

Well now that I know it's okay, I'm going to post some updated photos of my dogs, because I just love photo threads! I've taken a few new pictures in the last snowstorm, and the one before that, so I thought I'd share them: First batch - After March Blizzard http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v159/Sh...

Oh, alright. Thanks! Does that mean that nobody minds individual photo threads in the general area until the admin decides what is best? I'm a picture buff and I just LOVE to post photo threads about my dogs LOL. >^^;<

Question for the Forum - Pictures

I was just thinking, since photos of ourselves and our dogs seem to be quite popular, and pictures get lost quickly in a thread that becomes 15-20 pages long, that maybe we could have a separate section for posting pictures. All the other forums I go to, whether they are breed-specific, strictly tra...

I always just lure my dogs into a sit with a treat or toy (whatever they like best). When the butt hits the ground, they get their reward and praise. Once they have the action down reliably, THEN I connect a word to it as they are sitting. A bit later, I try saying "Sit" right before they ...

Ok, Eevee is negative for ringworm. The vet thinks that it's just the hormonal thing that was mentioned before, and that I should wait a few weeks and see if it clears up on its own. The hair loss has definitely slowed, and no sores or redness have appeared. Hopefully it will go away. I'll wait and ...

If you have a farm and make your living in livestock, do you have cows, chickens etc. where you make money off their meat? You could always feed that to your outside dogs if you did it right. There are tons of books and websites on homecooking and rawfeeding and if you talk to a nutritionist they ca...

Ok, well the vet plucked some of Eevee's ear fur off and looked at the hair and skin under the microscope, and he said there are no mites, so it's not mange (whew!). He also created a culture for a fungal test - he says it will test for ringworm, and the results won't show up for at least a week, so...

I'm pretty sure Eevee gets up on the couches when I'm not home, but I don't mind, as long as I'm not here. I cover them just in case lol. When I come home, I don't yell at her, but she slides off the couch like liquid if I catch her up there. It's actually kindof amusing. When I leave I close the be...

My cat gets on the bed and couches and my dogs stay off. I provide them with their own beds and there is no confusion at all.
