Re: My dog has turned into an obstinate teenager...help!
there's no "obstinate teenage stage". the "stages" as people refer to them are training and socializing issues (i think). find a trainer. train and socialize everyday. be consistant in your training. i find training in sessions works best. each session last 5 to 15 minutes. i con...

Re: Recently Adopted Deaf Dog-- Few Training Concerns
teach your dog hand signals. when your dog grabs his leash stop, take the leash out of his mouth and give him your hand signal for "no". don't wait untill it's time to go for a walk to leash train. leash your dog when inside. if he grabs the leash give your hand signal for "no". ...

Re: Is it the dogs or the antlers?
i think giving a dog antlers or beef femur bones depends on how aggressive the dog chews.
my dog has had femur bones since he was a pup. i started giving him antlers
last year.

why don't you walk your dog and see if that helps with going to the bathroom.

Re: Dogs distinguish objects by size and texture (and not shape)
i think when a dog is introduced to a new word for an object it doesn't matter what shape or size it is. the word given is the word associated with that object. i don't a dog is reasoning a word with the size or shape. you can teach a dog "go get your leash" but if you use a ball instead o...

Re: Help Needed: Dog Greeting People Coming Into House
invite lots of people to visit so you can teach him how to meet and greet. i think socializing
may help with the barking at people and other dogs when they walk pass your house. set up
the situations to socialize and train. be consistent in your training and socializing.

Re: Our lab x puppy
