make sure Meg has plenty of good experiences around your daughter, treat and praise her for being calm around your little girl. Difficult when you don't know the dog's background but I'm sure you'll get there. There is a thread on walking on a lead at the top of this forum ^^^, have a read through t...

aw that's so sad - my parents' lab is 12 now and it's awful seeing him so old and slow. I'm sure your mum's/brother's dog doesn't know what he is doing - we all know dogs hate 'dirty nests' - maybe he is starting to lose bladder/bowel control? I would get a waterproof/washable sheet for the dog to s...

Thank you all for your support and encouragement, I know he's only 12 weeks, I just think I worry too much sometimes and think it'll always be like this!! Think everyone does, Matt was trying to iron a shirt this morning with a mad puppy tugging his trouser leg then bringing him all her toys and ye...

I've fed my pup chicken wings she did try to swallow it whole at first but has now got the hang of chewing her food. She has also had lamb ribs that are quite bony and she can crunch through them no problem. I thought cooked bones were prone to splintering and cooked veggies lost their nutritional v...

It's that damn mother in law again telling us that pup will get ill and cooking veg takes the nutrients out (which is why we give her it raw) and then that a dog will never eat raw veg (she does no problem). Grrr - her red setter eats cooked chicken and white rice mixed in with baker's choice twice ...

ok still not got Billinghursts's book yet, should be here tomorrow and I'm sure that will help! But do any of you raw feeders give supplements? I've read she shouldn't need them providing I can give her a varied diet her veg mush has in it: spinach, sprouts, carrots, bit of red pepper, apple, garlic...
