Vet said possibly vasculitus, but can stress (perhaps elevated heart rate?) have an impact?

Need help on behalf of a friend, with a young male ridgeback. When he is under stress - BOTH his ears begin to bleed. Not just one - both, simmetrically. Seems that small dogs get stepped on a lot....
I always thought it must be difficult to be a small dog among all these huge humans. Being stepped on doesn’t make it any easier

First snow here on the east coast US too.
Ari didn't mind.. I think snow changes somehow the way scents work, so made sniffing things more interesting on our walk.
