I've never noticed my beagle smelling like fritos... to me, he smells like sunshine (talk about sounding silly). I don't bathe mine, and he spends a lot of time outside when it's nice out.

I would watch the dogs to see if they are actually the ones eating the grass. It's been insanely hot here and my grass is suffering from it, so maybe it's dying because of the weather or like Nettle said, there's an insect munching on it that you don't see. I'd be okay not knowing, my friend who just started her second trimester's choosing not to find out. J's the one who wants to be prepared, and I understand that. I think with this one we'll find out and any after we'll wait.

Bruiser and Dixie like to nibble on grass during the day and they haven't managed to kill our yard. They don't steadily eat the grass, just nibble here and there though.
