I don't really have the money for a mini freezer and it seems a bit of a waste when it should only be for a couple of weeks, 2 months max

Oh this could be a good thread! So far we have had one go at agility, but not at a good club, it was just a few jumps, a tunnel and some cones to weave through, and it was on concrete, so we won't be going back there. Waiting for the outdoor classes to start again in April. But Horace loved the jum...

raw diet - no freezer!

ok so been feeding Teagan a raw diet for a while now and it's been going really well. But with me having to move I won't have any freezer space for possibly a month or two. Thinking of feeding Nature's menu or similar for a while until I am settled into new place and get my freezer in there. Am I ri...

Flyball

OK so as I put in the other thread, the training class we go to also runs agility and flyball training. We haven't started flyball yet and I'm not sure if Teagan will take to it or not. Again she is too young at the moment but the lady who runs it says we can start small with just getting used to th...

Agility

Mentioned on another thread about starting an agility one - so thought I would! The training class I take Teagan to also runs agility and flyball training. She's too young at the moment but we're starting early with simple stuff. She LOVES racing through the tunnels, we also put poles on the ground ...

oops we've started already! Well, not really as she is too young. But she has seen all the equipment and had a good sniff so it is not a scary new thing and she runs through the tunnels and poles on the floor. She loves it, can't wait til she's old enough to do it properly and compete

well, took Teagan to the Lhasa's house as taking him out just wasn't going to happen. There was a bit of wrestling and some humping attempts, lots of playing and tearing round the house but they did eventually settle - him on the kitchen floor and Teagan curled up on the Lhasa owner's lap (oi rememb...

I love training class

Teagan is doing really well I'm so proud of her every saturday! The lady who runs it is impressed, think she's considering a beagle too now (she wants a smaller dog when her youngest is a bit older - she has 4 black labs). Week off next week though as it's my saturday in work (boooo!), then the week...

well blimey suggesting to her that she actually takes her dog outside for a walk - you'd think I'd asked for a kidney! Good news is the Lhasa has settled a bit since I last saw him so is not AS hyper, and sleeps a lot more - he does have his moments though. Asked about what he is like with other dog...

I think quite a few on here use the halti harness? It goes around the chest so there is nothing around the neck. I have a separate car harness so not sure if it would be suitable for in the car :?:

Collars

Teagan is now almost 18 weeks and has a 'small' collar from PAH which is on the last notch and I can still get 2 fingers under it but it's getting a bit snug so I don't want to keep her wearing it for too much longer. But I bought her a 'medium' one aswell which is HUGE on her, on the tightest notch...
