Re: Whats with all the spam !

Oops , I've feel I've started something off

Emmabeth , you shouldn't have to do all this deleting and stuff because it takes your time away from answering the questions.
TBH for such a large and busy forum , I'm surprised at how few Mods there are .

Re: New dog

Well done for taking in a stray dog . She sounds a real cutie. What are you dogs names? How does your whippet x react when she behaves like this? She sounds similar to my chi I adopted last year . I have two other small dogs and she did, and still does sometimes , the same thing. Shes very wriggley ...

Re: Crate Training Rescue dog PLEASE HELP

They 've had him for a very short while . he needs more time and if this were me I would carry on with just placing things inside the crate and let hím go in and out as he choses but not shutting the door . When they travel , do they use the crate for the car only or will it be used in the places wh...

Re: Book Recommendations

I like Sarah Whiteheads book too. :) Dogs by the Coppingers is the book recommended for those doing behaviour courses , Its solely about the origin ,behaviour and evolution of dogs . Its a great book but being scienced based I found it hard going . Dominance , Fact or Fiction by barry Eaton ,...

Re: Is This Victoria- Why Dogs Lick Article

She might possibly have written it a long time a go but it sounds like its written about wolves, though I dont think new borns would like their mothers mouths ! They would search for a teat , the licking comes later .

She certainly wouldnt write that now I'm sure.

Re: I Rescued A Fear Biter

Just sending you a hug and a well done for rescuing Zeek . he really is beautiful , I can tell from your post how much you care for your dogs and how prepared you are prepared to do . I know most people would say that he is being spiteful and ungrateful but I think there is more to it than that. I t...

Re: Anxious face rubbing

4. We come home and I feed the dogs. Honestly, I've been behind on obedience work and it's been difficult to do with two dogs now (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, bad owner...). Don't beat yourself up about this , you're a loving caring owner who's gone the extra mile for her dogs ! This is just a quick ...
