Thanks for the replies, we have a like 2 in 1 lead type thing its kinda like a halti ( it goes in like a figure of 8, around his nose and over the back of his head so we have his head and then attaches to his collar. he seems to do well with that.

Okay thanks :) The thing is as soon as he sees another dog etc he will normally pull towards it tried distracting him with a ball before his in that mood of ' theres a dog!' type thing but after he will drop his ball and just focus on the other dog.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Today we took him around the field and set of about half 6 tonight we walked twice around , he was of his lead we was throwing the ball etc. Then a border collie came running onto the field after a bsll we got Bob onto his lead and halti, which he is doing very well w...

Okay, thanks for that, theres me thinking awful things, silly me. Saying that when i was walking him and lowering his head he was not pulling anymore then he was when he was not lowering his head, if that makes sense. :)

Hi emma , his a family dog , yet my parents are coming to me about what we should do etc. I was saying how he *might* be better of his lead yet my parents dont trust him as far as recall and there frightened/ worried he would attach the other dog, but i arent really sure what to do with him .

Thanks for the reply at the rescue centre they advised us on getting him a choke chain but theres no way am putting that on him so were going for a non pull harness as far as the other dogs i will certianly follow your advise of crossing the road etc I do want to let him of his lead yet i dont want ...
