Re: Lab pup peeing as he walks
In our tiny, 2 bedroom apartment & very small yard I have three HUGE waterbowls for 2 small dogs. I don't think you'll be able to learn them not to use each other's waterbowls. Rather make sure the bowls are BIG, or put even more bowls down if necessary. I have one upstairs, one downstair...

Re: Howling Rat Terrier
Can you arrange things that your bf feeds her when he leaves for work? It's very unhealthy for a dog to eat right before / after excercise. Will she eat when left alone? If she will - give her her breakfast in a kong toy - your bf can leave her with it when he leaves for work. It gives her something...

Re: Potty Training Puppy
I understand your problem, but unfortunately I think is may confuse your pup. (Pups differ, some will be okay and others won't so it's difficult to say).

Re: Afraid of dryer
The only think I can think of is to try to desensitize him.
Maybe the force air dryers noice is too loud that it hurst is ears or something? Can't the groomer use a regular hair dryer?

Re: Murphy is quite the velcro dog lately...
Striker sits right on top of me too (32 weeks) - even when there is space on the couch  (okay, he's a lot smaller than Murphy). Sometimes it's uncomfortable & hot, then I ask him to move, but mostly that's where he sits when I'm watching TV. I obviously won't know for sure, but I don't thin...

Re: In season question
Aww, how long does she have to stay at the vet? Hopefully she'll be home soon :D This in season stuff is difficult :? Maybe it's because I'm blonde  If the lady bits don't go back to normal again - How will I know when the 21 days are over? (Then I know to be carefull for another week, th...

Re: In season question
Yes, that is all normal, yes she will be a lot more mature after her season. Most seasons last 21 days, but I am always careful for another week after that. Her hair is soft because of the hormone changes - good for you that you have noticed it. Sorry, just to make a 100% sure: The 21 days (more or...
