There are only 1 or 2 dogs he can get along with. I have also tried the treadmill method, but he is afraid of it. all e will do is sniff...

exercise-finatic dog--- can he do agility?
My dog dusty loves exercise. Any time we go on walks, he stays at the end of his leash pushing to go faster, running any chance he gets. He also paces through the house, running to the door any time i get up out of a chair or we pass by the front door. Ive been thinking about possibly getting him in...

Bored dog.... need help
My dog, dusty(part blue heeler/alaskan husky/american eskimo)(medium sized, about 9 years old) is always bored. I havent been able to walk him the past few days as I have been really sick. On most days it has been to hot (100+) to walk him. I have been wanting to do activities with him so he can get...

top 10 most agressive dog breeds?
I have had a few dogs that we have bought from breeders (cocker spaniel and a chihuahua). i was wondering the difference in personality traits in "bred to be sold" dogs like the ones above, and those that are saved from shelters? The cocker we had bit everyone in the house, and was very ro...

rescuing(adopting) and rescuing (saving from pet shops)
i have adopted most of my animals from shelters except for my 11 year old tabby cat, and ive only bought small animals (cockatiel and mice) from the pet store. I think that rescuing from shelters is the best thing i can do, but what about rescuing an animal from a pet shop? there is a pet store near...

the only thing i can currently think of is that if you were to keep him outside for a long period of time (with food and water and in fair weathered conditions) that he would need to go at some point. if he goes in the yard of some where outside, you can give him praise and treats. if you do that ea...

calming an overly anxious dog
my dog is always anxious to do something or go somewhere, but i dont always have the time to take him someplace, and i hate seeing him in a high strung state of mind. ive seen on victoria's show that you can rub a dogs chest slowly and lightly to calm them down. ive tried that tequnique quite a few ...
