I really couldn't say! My girl will pick up anything she finds on walks - thank goodness I taught her 'give' quite well in case it's something nasty!

She 'leaves' cat food really well but I think that's more from the fear of being smacked in the face by the cat than anything I've taught her!

Don't know what to add but my girl was on puppy pedigree dry from the breeder and was ok but very windy! Feeding raw now and much less gassy and smaller firmer poos - although the others are right, 3 in one night is a LOT of poo (my pup does 3 in 24 hours and I roughly know what times)! Have you tho...

Great doggy day!

I took Teagan to training class this morning (have found cheese works now as treats, and there are loads of toys there that are all new to her so she works really well for those too! Yay!). They do agility there too I know she's too young to do it but took her to the agility class just to watch and ...

same as the others, you'll get there!

My girl only learned that one of us had to open the door for her after running into a glass pane a couple of times (definately not advisable).

You'll spot the signs. good luck with it!

my girl doesn't particularly like hers either she likes to tug and chew on it but has come to realise it's much more fun just to keep walking with me anyway. She still likes to carry her end in her mouth, not sure if she's giving herself a job there but she doesn't tug anymore. She now knows that le...

ah have discovered the joyous smell of tripe! I didn't get the chunks, gave her some of a tripe prizechoice meal today. It's vile! Bless she still hasn't quite grown into those ears of hers yet either (think I need a spaniel bowl or something instead) - so the ends of her ears were dipped in tripe a...

Hi and welcome!

Chicken and liver are great, my girl also likes chicken skin that we take off the breasts we cook for ourselves. Pieces of carrot and nuts are good too, and cheese (currently the only thing she will work for). Burns do some training treats that are 100% fish fillet but they smell!

Not sure if this helps but I've found a whistle really useful. My beagle girl is now starting to explore a little bit further away from me when off lead so I've been keeping a close eye on her to see if she picks up an 'interesting' scent (there be rabbits in them thar fields!). I've found a whistle...

If I didn't walk Ellie everyday she would drive me nuts and as you say destroy the house. I was told (might even have been on this forum actually) that as a rough guide you should go for 5 mins exercise (on lead) per month of your dogs age. Obviously this is dependant on the type of dog you have, a...
