Re: How do you say sorry?
Sometimes things happen like I will accidently step onto a tail or a toe - I apologise like I would to a human. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you, are you okay? I'm so sorry". They obvisouly don't understand the words, but I agree with Emma, I think they do get some sentiment out of it (may...

Re: Dog neurotic about peeing outside
I hope your GSD is okay? Please keep us updated on how it goes with your Kelpie - and ask again when questions arise  Just something else I forgot to say - when she does have an accident in the house (no matter what the reason) never ever scold her or tell her off. In fact - don't even clean i...

Not sure if I understand you correct, but -
Can you pick up the toys, and only let them have toys when they are in different rooms or seperated by a babygate?

Re: SEPARATION ANXIETY UPDATE!!
I'll try to help :? I *think* in an ideal world it would be best not to leave him untill his sep anx is fixed - but, unfortunatelly that is not realistic for most of us  Is there any way that you can ask/pay/bribe someone to come and stay with him while you leave or leave him at someone else w...

Hi Laura
Welcome to the forums
Yes, children (and adults) are not educated as to how dogs communicate (growling, lip licking, body language) so I think it's absolutely wonderful that you do what you do

Re: She got into the apple pie!
I'm sure there are ingredients in apple pie that aren't exaclty very good for dogs - but if she didn't eat too much of the pie I wouldn't be worried (she doesn't have any severe allergies, does she?)

Re: She got into the apple pie!
Sorry I'm laughing, but it's really funny!
I'm not really bothered by germs and whatnot, so depending on the damage I'll just cut off some of the pieces to try & make it look pretty again.

Re: Dog neurotic about peeing outside
It's normal for dogs to mark on walks - it's what they do. But scent marking inside your home usually means stress / fear / insecurity. Clicker training is a great way to build their confidence , have a wonderful relationship with your dogs, doesn't take much time, tires them out mentally and...

English is not my fisrt language, so I'm not sure whether it's homeopthic?
But it's not a drug, it's 100% natural, and it contains some of the bach flower remedies. It's suitable for humans and dogs.
Keep us updated on how it goes with Abbey and dad
