Your dogs are absolutely beautiful.
They look so happy running and frolicking in the field.
Great action shots.

Re: Crate Barking!
if she has SA, there will be no way I can trust her to be out of her crate unsupervised when I am at work--ever. I'm curious -- why do you believe that if your dog has separation anxiety you will never be able to trust her to be out of the crate when you aren't home? Not all dogs with separation an...

Hmmmm....
Only one pug mug?
Until you also have pug wallpaper, pug carpeting and pug upholstery, I don't think you're into overload.
But if it gets to the point where you paint your vehicle to look like a pug .... well, then I think you may have crossed that threshold. lol

Re: Walking the dogs
When I walk my dog, he walks at a heel to my left side. We also practice an off-lead heel, again to my left.
When we go out romping in the snow, he either has the entire 6 foot leash or I put him on a 15' - 20' exercise leash.

Several months ago I wrote here about an intentional act of violence against my dog. (http://positively.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6035&p=39502&hilit=PHOENIX#p39502) I want to thank all of you for your support. My dog is doing well. It took him quite a while to physically recover, th...

Re: Terrifying ordeal:(
I am so happy that Ellie is doing well. I also want to applaud you for your quick actions while you were in the car. Hopefully nothing like this will ever happen to either of you again. But just to be on the safer side, perhaps her doctor can assist you in making an emergency kit just so you will ha...

Re: more venting..
I'm a little late coming into this, but if there are any stains you can put Oxy Clean (or the generic equivalent) in with the rug cleaner solution. It works quite well in removing stains, even stains that are less than "fresh."

She's beautiful, and so are your other dogs.
Wait until she learns to give you "sad eyes" to make your heart melt -- you won't be able to resist those beautiful eyes of hers.

This person does NOT claim to be associated with Victoria Stillwell. She just claims to be a "positively" trainer.

Re: Patient Positive Training for an Abused/Neglected Rescue Dog
You can teach your dog to ring a bell (hotel desk style bell, strand of jingle bells hanging from the door, etc.) to let you know she needs to toilet.
