He walked perfectly on a loose leash for the entire time he was on it which is unheard of for him, he came EVERY time he was called and didnt bite on the lead once!! :D AMAZING! Of course he got loads of clicks a...

Hi, Im a bit confused with harnesses, We have a 'step in' harness that looks pretty much like this one http://www.petsathome.com/shop/black-nylon-dog-harness-by-pets-at-home-14253 Charlie will quite happily wear this one. Today I brought a 'control harness' as I was advised that it would help with h...

Re: Trouble With Clicker Training
If it is an old style clicker (not the ones with the raised button) try putting a small piece of blue tack on the clicker, it muffles the sound, then you can gradually reduce the amount of blue tack as your dog gets used to the sound. If you have a raised button clicker then I read somewhere that yo...

Suspected allergy or skin condition
Hey, we took Charlie to the vets today because he has been itching and biting his paws ALOT! I have always thought he did it a little too much but vets and others just kept saying it was nothing to worry about, he is my first puppy but I still knew something just wasn't right. Anyway I finally got s...

Hi, I have an 11 week puppy who was sick ALOT when we first got him, he stayed in his crate most of the time but once he was better he just wouldnt go in there. So its a little similar in that he related bad experiences to the crate. Anyway, This week I managed to train him to go into his crate/Bed ...

Yeah, im working on it. I did what I have seen Victoria do on her show, I just turned my back (as much as poss with him hanging on my leg!), folded my arms and looked away, it worked within seconds, he did it twice and hasnt done it since, ill just keep an eye on it.
