Thanks for the replies. I have been spaking to my lecturer today who is also a dog Behaviourist and she said just to start with the halti on in the house and praise him/ toys, treats etc and that its a good thing to have on. She was also saying how its important to do it as so many dogs try and get ...

Hi, When clipping a dogs nails if they have black claws the best thing is to only take a short amoutn of at a time like just the tips of the claws as you cant see the quick. Yer to the above i also think its separation anxiety it is hard to treat as it happens when your not there.But there was a dog who suffered from separation anxiety on IMOTD a lab cross. There owners did it in steps first, they would just walk out of the door and come straight back in about 7 or more...
