Re: overwhelmed on walks..

Most of the roads here are quiet, but you cannot avoid the busy few to get anywhere. The only no stress option is when we drive my dog s...

Re: overwhelmed on walks..

Hey WufWuf..thanks for your reply :D Giving her back her power to say "no" without you trying to get her to change her mind will help her confidence grow as she will learn that she gets to decide how much she can cope with. Coaxing is not a good plan at the moment. Thanks for the reassurance that le...

overwhelmed on walks..

I'm in need of some fresh idea's guys...apologies, this might be a longish post... As I have mentioned before Hattie has noise phobia, which includes feeling overwhelmed when out on walks when in busy areas...this has been going on for her whole life (she's nearly 3), and I think it has stemmed from...

Re: More on neutering

Great story Nettle! :D I was chatting to someone from my training club who has a couple of large breed bitches..she was surprised at me saying I was neither breeding from nor spaying Hattie..She told me how she had let her dogs have one season before they were spayed...but to be honest given the siz...

Clean teeth

Hey guys I've noticed recently that Hattie has stains on the outer facing edges of her bottom canines? (those big pointy teeth anyway)..she's fed raw..so was wondering if anyone could recommend anything, a particular cut of meat or something that would help clean them? The rest of her teeth look lov...

Re: What do you wish you had known...

Don't put your dog in a situation where they can practice unwanted behaviour ...when Hattie overnight transformed from super glue puppy to ' stuff you, I'm doing my own thing' puppy, I should have put her straight back on a long line till we'd proofed her recall through her adolescence...I for some ...

Re: Peeing in her sleep

)))Hugs((( Rachel...how awful for you :(

Check out wobble boards for dogs, you should find other bits of kit and info related to core training...

Fingers crossed you are able to manage this with various therapies ...I'm assuming there are no holistic vets in your neck of the woods?
