just because someone is "top of the game" doesn't make their methods sound or the only way to achieve the end goal. people can win in spite of rather than because of their methods. keep that in mind. If you are doing competitive obedience for a bit of fun and to give your dog something to entertain her, then it is not worth ruining her for the sake of the 'game' once a week. Judy..I need to go back and read this book again now!!
