Thank you...
I have the clinical information. I am just hoping to find some "real life" experiences...funny, considering how RARE it is. ESPECIALLY in labs.......
That was good info. Where did you find it?

Craniomandibular osteopathy in lab pup...
Wow. Craziness. Has anyone here had any experience with this disease? Craniomandibular osteopathy (CMO). It is mostly common in terrier breeds and some instance in labs, danes, and dobes...some other large breeds as well. Izzy, who is 14.5 weeks was diagnosed today. She is a beautiful yellow lab. Sh...

Re: "OFF!"
Thanks! We have been using "yes" as a positive marker...she knows if I say "yes", it means reward. I have been doing it randomly with "sit" (she has that down...) and always with her name + attention given to ME. Also all the time with the "down" command. I gu...

Hi again, We have IZZY, our 13 week old wonder-lab. She is growing like a weed and VERY curious and playful (there's a first in the breed... ;)). She has started jumping on the cabinets to sniff what we are preparing in the kitchen, jumping up (front legs only) on the couch to get to her people, up ...

Martingale collar
Hi,
We have a 12 week old lab pup. Wondering if this is a useful collar for puppies or if it is only for grown dogs. I have only seen it used on grown dogs that have a problem with leash pulling, but didn't know if it is a good way to leash train a pup.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Any advice?
As far as the toileting at night, a crate or small space may be the best thing for this pup. Make sure it is big enough that he can turn around, but not too big that he can soil one area and sleep in another. Maybe a walk or run before bedtime? Not sure if it is possible, but the best thing you can ...

Puppy and Parvo risk
Hi again, Looking for more info on Parvovirus. We have a 9 week old lab pup. She has had her first parvo shot. How careful do I have to be bringing her places? I don't remember ever worrying about it with our 4 pups that we have raised years ago. Lately, I have had friends warn me of the danger. I w...

Re: Puppy
Congrats on your new puppy. We too have a new 9 week old yellow lab, Izzy. We got her one week ago today. We are using a crate for her at night. My husband made it smaller with a divider so she can only sleep and turn around in there. The first 3 nights she was crying and yipping most of the night. ...

Obsessive cat chaser - HELP!!!!
Hello. We have a 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Mack has been a "chaser" most of his life. We live on 16 acres, he gets plenty of exercise and stimulation. We recently got a cat as a "mouser". The cat loves us and when we are outside he comes to greet us. Mack (JRT) goes into ...
