i have eventually got a rucksack for Oscar! He looks soooooo cute in it :P and I think he is quite pleased with himself when he has it on. I have been taking him out for walks with it on. Rice in one side and pasta in the other (to weigh it down a bit!!!) It stops him pulling so much too! The only p...

Mmm doesn't look chew proof to me!! Wouldn't withstand a Beagle, that's for sure! I tried a "chewproof" Tuffie bed and that got mangled, so I use the oval hard plastic beds with lots of blankets in them (they are full of holes) but the bed is ok!! I have been looking for a square pla...

hey! Sounds just like your typical over-confident cocky Beagle!! One of mine used to do that, until he went too far and ran into the road. Luckily every car missed him, but he doesn't get the chance now, at least in areas where he can escape! He ran after two Cockers at the beach a couple of years a...

Can't wait to go again - if we qualify! Oscar enjoyed himself too. Strutted his stuff on the massive green carpet. What a buzz. I would recommed i...

square dog beds

hi all, a quick question. Does anyone know where I would be able to get one of these? I need it to be hard wearing - like the round plastic ones. Can only see the "hammock" style and don't know if the boys would like this or not. They love their round plastic bed, but a square/rectangle on...

that was hilarious!! It all sounds sooooo familiar too  I think anyone that has dogs and takes them anywhere, be it ringcraft/obedience has to get used to having a red face  I have certainly had lots of red faces at both classes. Usually for the same reasons. Poops on the floor  hum...

That sounds like a great place! Glad she enjoyed it.
Nothing better than a tired dog, snoring away in her bed!!
My little boy makes up his own agility "course" in our back garden for the dogs and they love it.

it was in the shape of a "mouse", with a tail. It might have been a locally made thing (north of Scotland!) The lures on the link look good though. You could probably get a skin from a butcher/gamekeeper. Or even one of these shops that sells sheepskin rugs etc? Beagle baby sounds like a d...

hey! you are doing really well! To be able to get a Beagle's attention when there are soooo many smells around it something! The smellier the treat the better with your girlie, it seems!! I know someone from classes that has a real rabbit fur toy and their dog goes wild for it. Possibly not for the ...
