Re: Belgian Shepard/ Sheepdog

I remember when we decided to get Tasha she was only one of 11 puppies in the UK during the year. When we decided to breed Tasha we had 8 people wanting to look at the puppies while she was still pregnent. (she only had 6, which was enough for us to cope with)

Re: To show or not???

i thought about showing Tasha when i first got her, but then i went to a local show and seemed way to competive for me. but i would say it depends on the cutlure of the show around you. i only went to a localish dog show and i never wanted to go back to a real dog show. but then in my little village...

Re: Way too excited when she sees other dogs

thanks for the past few days ive been putting her into a sit when we see another dog, this works if i catch her in time, as my dogs are mostly infront of me, so i get her to "wait" so i can catch up then "sit" it works really well. today as it was raining i went down a one person...

Way too excited when she sees other dogs

I have a 9mth old german shepherd b itch, who is really well behaved, apart from when she sees another dog. If she is off-lead she will generally stop, and come back to me, (or i call her and she returns) i then put her on the lead, she then pulls on her lead but just sniffs at the other dog and con...

Re: Obedience Class

It is amazing how people dont see the connection between human/dog, its funny because anatomically we need/use the same things. Air, Food, Water, Lungs, Brains, Hearts, Throats, necks, Legs etc etc and although a dogs perception of pain is far far FAR lower than that of a human, it still have an em...

Re: Wait vs. Stay

Thanks for your responses, i think im going to stick to just using "wait", this is what i use when walking and when playing the "find it" game. i just caught myself saying "stay" for her food, and just wondered, but will ensure I (and hopefully everyine else) only use &...
