Mattie hi Unfortunately dogs are too easy to get, there is a big surplus of them and you can get them quite cheaply. If the Government controlled the breeding of dogs and also made the owners more responsible for their dogs being under control then dogs would have a much better life and we wouldn't ...

You might want to ask your Vet if there are any local dog training clubs, look at a few before you decide which one. If there is a puppy class that would be good for socilisation skills. They will also be able to teach you, send aways. Help you with the retieve and so forth.

Emmabeth thank you for the article. I visited the NAIA web site to do more research, neutering is a subject close to my heart. Here in Spain we have real problems with pack of stray dogs, gone wild. While the article did not really swing one way or the other, one can not disagree with the end statem...

Further to my reply, you may want to consider asking your vet about female hormone injections. These are used to calm some dogs before the operation. They reduce the testostrone levels prior to the op. They need to be administered apx every 2 weeks.

Having your pet spayed or neutered is a part of responsible pet ownership and an important investment in your pet's long-term good health. The procedure has no effect on a pet's intelligence or ability to learn, play, work or hunt. Most pets tend to be better behaved following the operation, making ...

Hi

Loza hi,

According to the Guinness world records "Bramble" a Collie is entering into her 28th year. They are considering making her the oldest living dog in the world.

It is fed exclusively on a vegetarian diet of rice, lentils and organic vegetables.

That would make her 189 in dog years.

Listen to yourselves

This is not just a soppy puppy thing. This is not bad dog but bad owner thing. Anticipation is about responsible pet ownership. Buy a book, go to a training class, anything. The damage your dogs can be doing to themselves, is clinicaly not, does not bear thinking about. You thinks its funny, cute. G...

Emmabeth hi, apologies it does sound like you have done your research; I did not see the dragging incident you refer to. If there is a Youtube link that would be interesting. I do not have the Discovery Channel and CM is on Sky TV at 8pm and that clashes with Victoria, guess which one I watch. Last ...
