I found that constantly walking up to a toy, but ignoring it helps. Seems to desensitize them to your presence near it. Just don't take it away. If you want, you can try training him to accept you taking it away, but you must give it right back or else he'll think you're out to get his toys :) Perso...

When I've had this happen w/ other people's dogs, usually a gentle push off of me works. If that's not enough, I nudge them off, stand up, walk away and ignore them. Eventually they're see that humping you means you ignore them. Most dogs won't want that! Just don't give any indirect positive reinfo...

My dog and I are certainly not newbies to positive reinforcement training. My pup is 2 1/2 years old, female papillon. She's super smart, picks up on stuff SO quick. She graduated top of her class in obedience school using clicker training. She excels at agility. She gets exercise - at least a walk ...
