I'm so so sorry to hear the news about Bonita.
My thoughts are with you and your son.
Bonita is at peace now and will suffer no more.
I'm sure she knew how much you loved her and she'll always be in your hearts.
Hugs to you.

Re: Can anyone help figure out what is wrong with my dog?
Hi again Barratda, I've been thinking a lot about you and Bonita and seaching the net. I just found this page that I think you may find very interesting. It's about dog seizures and there's a video where the vet talks about the different steps of investigation and treatment. http://www.dog-obedience...

Re: Can anyone help figure out what is wrong with my dog?
Oh poor thing ! I understand how upsetting it must be for you to see her like that. (It really doesn't look like she's doing this voluntarily) Maybe if you show the video to the vet it could help him find out what's wrong with her. I hope you manage to find out whats wrong and to treat the problem. ...

Re: Can anyone help figure out what is wrong with my dog?
The MRI scan does sound like a good idea. As Mattie says if it doesn't find the cause it would at least rule out a number things.
I do hope you find out what's wrong, as it doesn't sound as though you're having a very good time
Keep us up dated, I hope all goes well.

Hi barratda,
Did you get a second opinion ?
What was the outcome ? did you find out what was causing this ? It sounds like some kind of epileptic fit.
I hope you managed to find out what it was and to find a treatment

Re: Dogs nervous around other dogs
Most dogs find it hard to resist raw meat; little bits of raw chicken or beef. It doesn't have to be big pieces, the important thing is that it is very attractive to the nose !! :D If you can't cope with raw meat yourself, try ham cut into little bits or even a nice strong smelling cheddar !!! try a...

Agressive 7 month old puppy (maltese bichon)
When we first got Teddy everything seemed to be going fine until a couple of months ago when he started to bark at pigeons and children in the street. Things have gradually got worse and he even tries to attack them. I'm absolutely devastated because today while he was out with my 16 year old daught...
