I am totally against her getting another dog, but she did I could not talk her out of it she couldn't take care of ...

So he's slowly getting better with people. But his weight we still have problems the scraps have been cut down to barely little to nothing. I walk him so much and play Frisbee but it doesn't see to make any difference. does weight control food really work? should I switch him over I read that it was...

Re: My Dog is Highy protective!

If anything he barks at them because they stare. If they don't acknowledge him he won't do anything. Distracting him with food is 50/50 just like all the other times. He has been surprisingly good yesterday and today, he hasn't barked at anyone coming in the house (people that live here) and he has ...

Re: My Dog is Highy protective!

Yeah he even gets testy with me with a bone he'll growl but he will let me take it from him. Beau jumped on the couch and laid next to her. That's the only reason she pet him. Its weird sometimes he'll bark at people when I walk him on the street sometimes he won't. So that would be iffy. On a trail...

Re: My Dog is Highy protective!

So it's been a while, Clicker training is going good I should be doing it more. Right now I'm working on him staying in a spot while people enter the house, which is hard because he's always on attack mode. I had my friend over last night Beau has never met her, I had a soup bone outside, and she ga...

His still somewhat the same. Still protective and aggressive of the house, I walk him a at least 2 miles a day and he plays frisbee. When I walk him on the trail he is calm people talk to him and tell him he's a good boy, he doesnt even growl. If another dog is acting crazy he'll bark at them, He ha...
