Thank you so much for your indepth reply :D I see what you are saying about prevention rather than cure and in a lot of situations I can apply your suggestions but when she is barking for my attention and I distract her she is getting what she wants or is that the time i remove her/myself? We go for a half an hour run in the morning and walking on a lead in the afternoon and 5 - 10 minute training sessions about three times a day.
Of course we have play times too which are quite random times during the day.
She is no left alone for longer than an hour in the day
