Re: Help with walking on a loose leash

Thank you both for your replies. I will definately give it a try, Im sure he will 'get it' eventually. :) I realise that Charlie being walked with up to 4 other dogs isnt ideal but he is walked by two people (the woman who runs it and her husband) and I see it as a better option to him being left at...

Re: Assistance with potty training

Keep going outside with the pup for now, remember to treat her as soon as she goes. We had the same issue with Charlie, we tried the following and got there in the end. Each time she is taken outside gradually move one step closer to the door than you were last time , its a slow process but eventual...

We felt exactly the same way, we found it so hard, as i said it will get easier with time and before you know it you will be wondering what all the fuss was about. Until then th...

Hello :) Charlie had his 6month check up at the vets today, everything is fine apart from the vet said that he is a little overweight, she said this as a passing comment and then said we can go :? toilet training set back

Hi everyone. Charlie has been going to the toilet outside (as opposed to on paper or on the carpet) without fail for just over a month. Last Sat we went for a holiday in spain, when I got up the morning we were about to leave he had gone to the toilet on the floor in the kitchen. My sister and her f...

Re: how do i get him to come back to me?

Hi, We were quite lucky with Charlie as he WANTED to stay with us all the time, even on walks, but then at about 4months he started to ignore us when we called him back. I found that giving him a treat EVERY time we call him worked the best. We tried just giving a treat sometimes but then he didnt a...

Re: pups energy level has dropped dramatically-should i worry?

Today was one of those days... He got up at 6am when my OH went to work and had breakfast. At 8 am i got up, after my breakfast we went for a 45min off lead walk where he played with the dogs at the park. When we got home I did some housework and he followed me round the house - he likes to be with ...
