I feel like you guys aren't giving dogs enough credit here, it's like you guys are basically saying, dogs are stupid and they cannot be here, or there or with this person because they'll forget what they were trained to do. Also, I am a little offended, I am legally blind, I DON'T own a guide dog be...

Sometimes I feel dogs need us, cats on the other hand, are way more independent than a dog. Leave a dog in the house for a few hours and you'll come back to a wrecked house and a dog so anxious it wont stop peeing itself. Leave a cat in the house for a few hours and come back to everything just fine...

My boss's dog is the same in a way. She's totally docile even though she's loved and petted and is a family pet and service dog. she'll play tug of war and she comes up to greet but if she's not being my boss's guide dog she'll sleep...and sleep..and sleeep. My boss told me just recently she just re...

Starting on Clicker Training
Today I took Jasmine out for her very first puppy education class, There wasn't much hands on mostly introductions, passing out papers and getting to know owners and pets. The trainer did tell us on what things we will be doing in class and she talked of basic training and clicker training. She gave...

I see, have you tried Crate training? Crate training is a good way to help potty training dogs and puppies. The crate provides their housing or den and dogs are clean animals and wont want to potty in their crate. It helps them hold it until they are let out. When I crate my 9 and a half week Pomera...

Jasmine is a 9 and a half week old Pomeranian puppy, she's been away from her mother for almost a little over two weeks. She likes her KONG but she only likes it if I'm around, she wont take it if I leave, I seen a toy at Petsmart that does heartbeat sounds I guess I should give it a try, I wanted t...

She's been with us for about two weeks now I beleive. I cannot break her food up into three meals a day because she only eats like three kibble and then she runs and plays, comes back five minutes and eats a few more kibble, then goes back again and eats another three kibble. Now this is another pro...

I think I might have made a crating mstake
The breeder that had Jasmine told me she should be perfectly fine in a Crate because that's where she was raised to help create her den and safehouse. When I brought her home she had no problem walking in and out or even sleeping in her crate but now when I place her toy or treats in her crate she h...

Eating Cat food
Everytime I let my Jasmine, my 9 week old Pomeranian down the stairs she KNOWS where to go to get her forbidden food. She eats my cat's food and I'm not sure why she likes his food better than her own, is it because they are smaller sized than hers? How can I get her to like her food better and keep...
