Chew toys
My dog is great about only chewing his toys. However those toys he will shred if given the chance. To save money and make it more fun, I put destructible toys up. Tennis balls, tug toys, and stuffed toys are brought down only when I am playing with him. Even though he is only 20 lbs I buy him chew t...

How I bath my dog
My dog is allergic to fleas, most flea treatments, and several different foods. I use my daughters tear free shampoo on his head first and then bath the rest of him in tropiclean (mostly natural). When I am done rinsing I mix apple Cider Vinegar and water, a pitcher 1/4 full of vinegar the rest warm...

TTouch
I frequently use the TTouch with Koda. He loves it and even started rolling over to have his tummy done too. Before the TTouch he would only rollover in submission, never for tummy rubs. I actually use the same circle motion on my little girl. It puts her to sleep.

Update
We have wanted to take Koda to see a veterinarian, but they can't do much with a dog that won't let people touch him. Today a really great lady came to my house, and made huge progress with Koda in just an hour. We both cried when Koda actually allowed her to hug him and give him snuggles. He even g...

Thank you
A trainer who helps people with my income, or lack of income, is going to be here in about 15 minutes. I walked Koda really good, and gave him some calming stuff. Everyone cross your fingers. Thank you everybody for your advice. Koda is comfortable in his crate, but is becoming possessive over it. L...

My light at the end of the tunnel
I forgot about victoria being a mommy. Koda probably wouldn't be a good match for her then. Even she can't fix a dog over night. javascript:emoticon(':)')Just as I was about to give up, I think I may have found help. There is a lady who trains shelter dogs and she wants to help Koda before he become...

Help for my Koda
I've talked to so many trainers as well as spending hours online. I just feel like I'm running out of time. I know that fearful dogs become aggressive if not treated soon enough. I think Koda is making the transition. He just doesn't trust strangers. After an entire year of hard work I can walk him ...

Thank you
Thank you for your advice. I will check out there web page. I did here about a place at my nearest community outreach that will train dogs for low income families. They also provide mental help. However, I have social issues I'm not retarded like the free mental heath people treat me. I used to have...

Chewing and potty training
Definitely work on crate training. It will help so much. Make sure it is a wire crate though. The plastic ones are too easy to chew up. you also don't want to put a padding or toys he could choke on in with him. Dogs like him need good exercise, cause they get bored easy. Take him for a good walk/jo...

Door manners
Does he do it to your immediate family members? If he doesn't, desensitization might work well for him. Have them come through the door repeatedly. Have them completely ignore him until he is behaving. You could also try having them give him a sit command. No sit = No treat. Make sure you keep the t...

Treats
My dog needs serious distraction when I am I trying to socialize him. I found the thing that works best is small boiled pieces of chicken and/or tiny chunks of cheese. Cheese can give them diarrhea though, so not too much.

She's a good mommy
Even healthy dog foods have extra stuff in them. I can't imagine her not feeding them real meat and veggies. I know she uses chicken as treats on her show. Not milk bones.

I too think it would be nice to know what she is using. However, I think if they did that it would look bad. It would start looking like they were advertising the product and not Victorias incredible training skills. Then she might start looking like Cesar. Have you seen Petco lately?
