Re: Food recall: Iams/Eukanuba
Proctor and Gambles at their best. People wonder why I got upset and refused to by Natura products since the sale of the company to P&G... Because P&G have to many recalls.

Coming in on this late. Late enough to find that Ellie is getting better. That was wonderful news. I'd like to add healing prayers for Ellie and send you a couple of hugs.

Re: Resource Guarding Help Please
I do not feel a dog protecting his food or toy from another animal is resource guarding. Usually an older dog will teach a younger dog to back off from "my stuff" with little problem This is a case of know your dog, yes you can leave some adult dogs to teach a pup but not all, I know dogs...

Re: Advice on settling in a foster dog
Nettle had very good advice on the introduction so I won't add to that. I will comment on what I do with fosters once the introductions are done. I start by letting the foster settle into the household routine and I ask very little for a couple of days. Usually working on them knowing their new name...

Re: Pet store trainings...?
Some are good, some NOT so go. It depends on the trainer. When I took Schatz 8 years ago **, there was a very good trainer and I learned a lot of theroy from her. Forward a few years my company opened our store right next door to the one we went to. That trainer was moved to another Petsmart and the...

Re: Drastic Changes to Innova to come?
My pet food supplier brought in the Acana at my request. The company has a very good reputation. Although she brought in the grain free versions. I will be stopping in the next few days to ask her to get the Regular ones also, including the Puppy one. My crew switched from Innova/Calif Natural/Evo t...

Re: is this considered overboard???
If you were brought up in this family, it would be Rottweilers. I've got the same as your aunt in rott-a-belia. Two china cabinets, a curio filled and miscellaneous items spread around the house. Plus four real ones. In my defense, most of the statues were gifts from family and friends.

Re: Drastic Changes to Innova to come?
P&G will ruin the product in time. I don't trust them. When I heard back in May that the company was being sold, I finished the bag I had and went Acana. I won't by anything that is a Natura product again. Makes me very sad and a bit angry.

Re: NATURA --SOLD Innova, Evo, California Natural maker
My 9 1/2 year old was raised on Innova... I was heartbroken when I found out the company was sold. It wouldn't bother me so much if they had sold out to a reputable bigger company, but P&G is not. They have proved that over and over. When those masive recalls happened a couple of years ago, I wa...

Re: Need name ideas
In my avatar, the two end ones were adopted from a kill shelter. They escaped with about 15 minutes to spare. Feeling guilty for buying one, I got involved in rescue... that was 8 1/2 years ago. I do rotties, but I've fostered a pom. No fosters right now. It makes my heart happy to hear you say you ...

Re: NATURA --SOLD Innova, Evo, California Natural maker
Orijen is a fantastic product! I have decided to go with Acana which is made by the same company as Orijen. :D I mainly posted the info for those that didn't know the company was sold to P&G. I do not trust that P&G will keep the same quality and standards that are in the product now. I've s...
