Re: Stripping Equipment

Thank you! I was also worried about how it was on the skin. Is there a brush that you recommend or that you have found that works. Or do you just stick to combs. I am sorry for the late reply! I am having a difficult time finding truly rounded scissors. I mean some have the outside rounded but they ...

Re: Stripping Equipment

Thank you!!! I really appreciate this. I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you!! I get distracted and wonder about. lol

I think you are right. I should find things that are cheap until I know what exactly I like. So.. pin brushes but no bobbles.. Would slicker brushes do well?

Re: Stripping Equipment

Sorry to be a bit useless - I really don't have prefered brands - what I do is go along to a big store or a big dog show with lots of groomers trade stands and get hands on, handle the equipment. I really only use a stripping knife and my fingers, so I just pick whats comfy for me and whats the rig...

Stripping Equipment

I know this is going to be a difficult question here, but I was hoping you guys could help. I was wonder if you had preferred brands of stripping knives and carding knives. I am hoping you can tell me which seem to work best, or had features you like, or felt most comfortable in your hands. I was al...

Re: Random Chatter

Does Victoria or her people not want to be connected to this site anymore?

Are they trying to make it seem like just a fan site now?

Re: Snufflemats in Shelters?

noob question, what is a snufflemat? O.o I had to look it up as well. http://www.allpetseducationandtraining.com.au/snuffle-mat-mayhem.html I think it would be a cool thing to get school kids doing.. like making the ties.. or something. I think it would be too time consuming for people at the shelt...

Re: Guilt

I read something about that too. Like how people like to make these videos of dogs looking "guilty", but it has nothing to do with what they did. It is why they say don't scold your dog after it pees inside (if it is minutes or more after) as the dog doesn't relate peeing inside the house ...

Re: Random Chatter

Hmm.. I sent another email and posted it on her facebook page. I imagine if I spam her enough perhaps she will notice me out of the trillions of people who are trying to ask her questions or tell her something. This is such an amazing resource with such nice people. It needs to be saved from Spambot...

Re: Random Chatter

I am also on a Schnauzer forum as I think it is good to get an understanding of the breed through people that love the breed, but they had me wait a mod to approve me before I could start posting. I think it is the best way to do it. I think so long as the forum is connected to her site, this should...

Re: Random Chatter

There is a link to contact admin at the bottom of the forum - if anyone felt so inclined to express their concerns, yoou never know, they might sit up and take notice. But don't tell them it was at my suggestion, they might already think I'm a desk-thumping troublemaker  lol Actually I just w...
