Re: Vomit Aggression?

Thanks! A vet has seen him and apparently other than a chronic case of cat poop eating, he is fine :) I will try working on it, thanks for the ideas!

Re: Vomit Aggression?

He did that once (guarding, but not eating it), but thank god it was at the break of dawn and his bladder got the better of him - i was able to get him out for walks and clean up before he got back to the room. I usually let him eat it (less clean up for me) - I just don't especially like this idea ...

Re: Vomit Aggression?

Hey, I know this is an old post, but maybe you can help me - my dog only has resource guarding behaviour with vomit - I have never taken away bones from him, or 'tested' his guarding behaviour, but he was always fine. Now it has happened more than once that he growled at me after vomiting. Since I c...

Re: bacon bubble blower

You can buy it on Ebay/amazon. K9 bacon flavoured bubbles. But they smell horrible for people. We have been using it only on occasions - for thunderstorms, fireworks, lot of guests or rainy weeks when walking is really hard. My dog goes crazy for them!

My friend's dog (Roscoe) and my dog (Bob) are besties and we live really close so we walk them together often. On their own they are pretty manageable (not the best behaved, but definitel...

Re: Barking at the dog park

His keenness to go there may be more down to a level of adrenaline at the anticipation of all that stress and excitement, like adolescents getting razzed up at the anticipation of a fist fight. Thanks for your answer! I dont know whether he is getting reinforced or not - since he never gets a treat...

Barking at the dog park

I have a two year old rescue mutt who has been with me for a year. He is a small neutered dog (13 kg - 29 lbs) who has some history with ungentle handling and big dogs being mean to him, but no serious abuse according to the shelter. When we brought him home he was very afraid of other dogs and men,...
