We have 2 fish tanks that have African Chiclids.

I'd love to get a cat but the hubby is allergic.

I've been looking for one of these everywhere. I'd love to see how my pups react to it since I know they got nuts when the kids blow bubbles.

I purchased a Halti gentle leader type heaad collar for jack russell terrier. She was a bigger puller before we got it for her, and now she hardly pulls at all. We purchased it at a pet store here in HI called Pets Discount.

Eating the walls and baseboards

Hey ya'll!! I have a 7-8 month old Border Collie mix that has recently started chewing on out baseboards and walls. I've tried that Bitter Apple spray and so far doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas on curbing this naughty behavior??

Thanks!!

No, not without using a severe aversive. She is getting a massive 'reward' by guarding her property and 'chasing' these people away. Can she see them or only hear them? How sensible you are to see the potential problem here. The best way to manage it is to fence her away from the boundary fence, in...

Thanks Nettle.

She can see them as they walk past. We have a chain linked fence. I was thinking of putting something along the fence so that she wouldn't be able to see anyone, but I don't think that would work.

Jumping and barking outside

Ok, so I have a Jack Russel/Dauchsand mix named Sweetie. She's about 3 years old. When we let her out in the backyard she'll bark and jump when anyone walks behind our fence. (The way our neighborhood is set up there's a walkway between the backyards.). So anyway, Sweetie jumps so high I swear one o...

Thank you both Yoshi and Nettle.

Since posting I have invested in a couple more chew toys for her. And am getting a crate for her tomorrow, so that way she can stay in there when we're not at home or in bed since those are the times she really chews.

Chewing puppy

Hello. So, the family and I adopted a 5 month old Border Collie mix from the Humane Society 3 weeks ago. Since we've had her we have noticed she chews on EVERYTHING. i just found today that she's almost chewed through one our cable for the TV.

Any ideas on how to break this naughty habit???
