Re: Puppy growling and lunging
Thank you everyone, it seems to be a a two steps forward and one step back process ;) he is responding well, but i think I will try the blanket method. Re: Freak accident
That is so bloody awful :/ but i'm not surprised. I'm always wary of bigger dogs playing with tiny dogs, because it doesn't matter how many times they have met, accidents happen

Re: Puppy growling and lunging
he is completly chilled and out and relaxed all of the time except when you pick him up. His mother was used as a breeding machine and was surrendered to the local rescue and had her pups at the foster carer's house. It turns out the foster carer has three children who used to carry the pups everywh...

Puppy growling and lunging
hi, my eight week old staffy pup is growling and lunging at me when i go to pick him up. I understand that puppies don't like being picked up and if done incorrectly it can hurt. This behavior has escalated from a small growl, to snarling and lunging :/ How our house is built is that the stairs on t...

Peeing Puppy
Hi everyone, It has been a long time since i've had a puppy, since i was a child. I have done a lot of reading before i got our rescue pup, but I just wanted to run something by you all. I take my puppy out immediatly after he has woken up or eaten and pretty much every hour to pee outside. He still...

Re: my dog saved my life today
I'm so sorry this happened to you :/ and that poor woman that passed. I grew up with german shepards and it doesn't matter how friendly and loving they are to other family members and outsiders, if something is amiss, they will protect their masters and/or family. When i was a little girl, my older ...
