That's what I was thinking, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
Thanks

Play behavior
I've noticed when there are two dogs playing and a third arrives the third starts barking at the two playing dogs. I've also noticed the dogs playing may switch, however the odd dog out is still barking at the playing dogs. All three dogs are friends and play nicely together all the time. Does anybo...

Re: DNA tests?
No, they can't tell you your dog's breed. They can tell you which breeds are included in the genetic background of your dog. The results can vary between companies. It depends on how much they have invested in their database, which basically means how many different breeds they have in their databas...

Re: Professional Dog Walkers
My dog walker spends 1/2 hour at each home. She tries to keep her "territory" small and therefore can add more dogs. The only time she walks multiple dogs is when they are from the same home.
I currently pay $17 for a 1/2 hour walk.

Re: Seperation Anxiety
OMG I thought I was the only one who suffered from separation anxiety! When my dog first came home, I was so worried about her having separation anxiety, I left her home and I found I couldn't leave her alone. I ended up sitting outside my front door making sure she didn't bark. I ended up having to...

Re: Exercise & rainy days
It's been raining non-stop in my area also (normally an arid area). We have done the following: Walk in the rain (my dog hates it) Puzzles and trick training When I'm going crazy, we've gone to a couple of pet stores (dogs are allowed inside). My dog totally loves going to the pet store. We've also ...

I taught my dog to fetch using a clicker. It took a long time and it is still not her favorite game. It has become our in the house rainy day activity. 1. I replaced her ball with a rope toy (we had so many issues with the ball I wanted to start fresh). 2. I set the rope in front of my feet and I wo...

I use organic hotdogs without any sulfates or nitrates. They have a pretty strong scent and my dog is crazy about them. We ONLY use them for training, which keeps them exciting. I've tried cheap hotdogs but they kind of grossed me out and I didn't want to touch them. She also tended to reject some b...
