Re: Not eating meals

Thanks.
I know I'm not eating meals so I guess the dogs are feeling the same.

Not eating meals

Can I ask some advice. I have 2 dogs, on aged 7 a Lab/German Shep cross and a 10 year old terrior cross. Last few days they have both started eating less at meal times. I have tried changing their bowls, the kind of food they eat and so on. It's been really hot so I have been walking them first thin...

Slightly weak leg

For the last few weeks I have noticed my dog is not putting much weight on his right back leg. He is not limping, and still runs around with tons of energy. However he is a little more cautious going upstairs and will not jump up on his hind legs. (which he used to from time to time) Not sure if I s...

Re: dog aggression (out of character)

Thanks. Had a minor incident today. Took him out this morning and we met a collie that we have met many times. He is always friendly towards her and me and the owner always have a chat. They sniffed and trotted around together and all was fine. He brought his ball to me and I threw it (I know that w...

Re: Black pudding

I do a fry up every Sunday and always do Black Pudding with it. I get "Bury" Black Pudding from my local butcher.
I do a little extra as a treat for my dogs. Think its ok as long as they don't have it to often.

Re: dog aggression (out of character)

Thanks everyone for your great help. I have been out with him since and each time he is back to his old friendly self with other dogs and people. I think like you said it is a mixture of teenage anger and the fact it was outside our house. He has a strong guarding instinct. Have postponed the chop f...

Re: dog aggression (out of character)

Usually take him out first thing in the morning for half an hour after his first fead. Then go to work. My step daughter gets home at midday and I get home about 5pm. I then take him out again for an hour. He is usually fine with other dogs. Has a sniff and then is on his way. Sometimes he will play...

dog aggression (out of character)

Was wondering if anyone could advise? I have an 18 month old german shepherd/lab cross. He is usually a lovely gentle nature, great with people, kids, and other dogs. This morning after taking him for a walk I was getting out of the car. He saw another dog and ran towards it. I called him and went a...
