double trouble
Hello lovely people! I need to 'borrow' a bit of your experience and expertise, if that's ok? Here goes: I work as a dog walker and I recently signed up two new clients - two Labs. They are both male, 3 yo and 1 yo. Healthy, not neutered, from good parents. Now. These two Labs don't seem to have had...

a bit of help
Hi everyone! I return to this forum with a problem and I would much appreciate some input, please :) I walk a dog, a 3 yo black Lab girl who needs some guidance and I'm a bit lost... She kinda pins other dogs to the ground and vocalizes aggressively whilst doing so. It's only happened a couple of ti...

Re: Cruciate Ligament Rupture

I got: - Dorwest Herbs Rhus Tox for Dogs and Cats 6c (Pack of 2); - Weleda Ruta Grav 30C - Pack of 125 Tablets; - Dorwest Herbs Arnica for Dogs and Cats 15c (Pack of 2); And the t...

Re: Cruciate Ligament Rupture
Thank you very much Nettle, you're very kind! I took a deep breath and feel better now... I am now looking for the homeopathic products - hopefully they'll make a difference. Nettle, I found turmeric capsules for humans, they ok to give to Molly? I see they are sold in different dosage, which one sh...

Thanks, Judy! It means a lot! It does feel lonely when for the most real people around me she is "just a dog". And to me she's my family.. My good one :) Anyway, here she is giving it her all on the treadmill. It was a proud moment :) http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/mollywolly6/10...

Re: Cruciate Ligament Rupture
It's been 12 weeks since surgery. It wasn't easy at all, lots of tears and few sleepless nights :) Her leg looks OK now, so the Xray say. She walks fine on the leg and the vet is happy with her recovery. BUT. BUT. A couple of weeks after surgery she started limping on her other back leg. We went bac...

Re: ideas
Thanks, guys :) I'll try and set up the ramp in the house, see how we go there and we'll move slowly towards the car :) It is a very long road; she's had surgery four weeks ago, she seems to be improving, but now the other leg bothers her and we had to cut down on her outings again. So we're back to...

My dog had a TTA surgery four weeks ago and we've exhausted the up and down the road bit as she's only allowed 5 minutes gentle walks so we're not making it very far :)... I'd LOVE to be able to take her somehwere else for those 5 minutes but I can't get her into the car. I can't lift her, not only ...

Re: Cruciate Ligament Rupture
Thank you, Nettle! It does look like she's coping far better than I am but what can I do, she's evertything I've got and I'm not just saying that :) She's raw fed, do you think I should stop that? It feels like ages when she squats to do her poos and maybe it hurts her? That bone-poo that just takes...

Cruciate Ligament Rupture
Molly (7 yo Lab) has been diagnosed with cruciate rupture. She's awaiting surgery which will happen on Thursday. Has anyone been through it? I'm very nervous and emotional about the surgery and the recovery time afterwards - I don't quite know what to do with myself :( I'm on my own and fear that I ...

Re: What's your "heart" breed, and when did you fall in love?
I'm a gundog type of girl :) LOVE an English Springer Spaniel. And Labradors. And Golden Retrivers and oh! Flat Coated Retrivers. And cheeky Cockers. My bucket list says at least one of each throughout my life. I've started great with a mighty Labrador. I'm doing well :) I fall in love with all thes...

Sore elbow
hi guys! I have just returned home after a week away and found Molly with a huge, raw sore on one of her elbows. The person who looked after her for the week said she's taken her to the vet's, the vet said there is no need for antibiotics but it needs to be kept clean and dry. Now, she's wearing a c...
