Re: mixing egg with kibble

Thanks for the photo. I've been searching a diagram all over the internet to see if my dogs could be overweight. According to AKC standards, they should be 9.5 to 11 inches. My female stands 10 inches if I measured from floor to top of her shoulder blade. She is 13.2 lbs. My male is abnormally tall ...

Re: mixing egg with kibble

I've always thought that too but they look a healthy size to me. I feed them 3/4 cups in the morning and afternoon but they usually just nibble. Maybe I'm just trying to fix something that doesn't need fixing. I will definitely follow your advice. Thanks!

They are 13 and 16 lbs. Both bichons and roughly 10 and 11 months old.

mixing egg with kibble

Hey everyone! I know there are a lot of you who raw feed. My dogs have always been kibble fed. They eat Purina and I know this isn't the highest quality food but it is affordable and they do well with it. For the past three days I've added an egg to their kibble to encourage them to eat all their fo...

beginning agility training

Hello all! I'm looking for any advice on beginning agility training for my two bichons. They are about 8 months now and so far have learned basic obedience along with a few fun tricks fairly easy. I have been reading that bichons are excellent at agility...I just don't know where to start. I'm not l...

Re: different size testicles

No, I'm not positive that it is his testicle. I'm not even sure the vet was correct when he said it had decended because i could never feel it. But there is definitely one and i can feel something else beside it. :?:

different size testicles

Hey guys! I noticed on my 7 month dog that one of his testicles is much larger than the other. When we got him, he had an undecended testicle but later the vet said it had dropped. At the time, he was so small that I couldn't feel for myself. Now, it looks like one really large testicles but if you ...

Re: Not descended testicles, what age to neuter?

I was just going to say the same as claremarsh. There is still a chance that his testicle will descend. My pup only had one but by the time he went for last set of vaccinations it had dropped. But i had found some info about it that said it could be up to a year but after that there wasn't much chan...

Re: female due for first heat

Thanks everyone for the great advice! Wow, it looks like i have my work cut out for me. I can totally commit to keeping them separated. I think the hard part will be their reaction and me being able to divide my attention. I had a bit of information overload researching spaying. This is something i ...

I also meant to add: what signs to look for that it is coming. I know her area will swell and she will "show". My male is starting to sniff her now but other than that nothing. I do realize that its still early but i just don't want my girl harmed by any unwanted pregnancy.
