Jumping Fences
I have a 6 ft privacy fence. One of my dogs has figured a way to jump the fence. Any thoughts or ideas on how to stop this? I do have a crate that I can put him in, but I want to be able to put him outside while I'm gone at work. They play together for a while but then one will jump, after 25 min of...

On the whole dominance thing, when Titan sits on me he has a happy face. His body is never tense like he's trying to convey a point to me. He's just there.. I'm not sure it's dominance, and when Titan stands over Comet he's fine. It doesn't seem to be a tense situation, just a nervous one. Like he's...

I could be off-base here, but I've read some other articles suggesting that this type of behavior is a show of dominance and ownership-- by sitting or lying on top of you, your dog is claiming you, saying he owns you. The same when he does it to other dogs. Don't let him do it to you. As for the ot...

I have a rescued Yorkshire terrier who does exactly the same as your dog.. my current dog, also Yorkie (Penny), been with us since birth and 6 months age difference in between the two, appears to be the dominant dog, but new yorkie (Mia), has been nicknamed Asbo for doing exactly what your dog does...

His history is that he was found and the woman who found him took him to the vet had him neutered and all medical issues taken care of. She wasn't able to find him a home so she gave him to the shelter. He was there in a crate for 1 yr. We've now had him for a little over a month. It took him about ...

Anxious or lack of confidence? Help please..
To start, I help out at an animal society, taking different dogs out to play in the park. I fell in love with one that just plays all day long with the dog that I've had for a year. I decided to foster him and see if he would fit in the family. He's perfectly behaved except for one thing. While ever...

Toys??
I have a 1 yr old yorkie who doesn't like treats. Is there certain toy that yorkies like more than treats? Ex: squeaky toys or something.

I have a new addition to my family. His name is Skye and he is a 1yr old 5 pound yorkie. I have one other dog that I've had for a couple of months. I crate trained my other dog with no problem. It's his safe haven when he needs to get away. I want my yorkie to feel the same about his crate. My probl...

Help - need more trick ideas
My dog knows sit, lay down, lay down flat, roll over, shake, come, and also to let go (only when your holding the item he has in his mouth). I've tried to teach him to go around in a circle and I think I'm just not doing it right. Also when we do our training session, I can tell he's bored and wants...
