Re: If your dog were a person...

These are hilarious! Some days I think Sweetie would be a stereotypical old fashioned landlady. Bit plump, bossy, bustling about, nose in everyone's business, waiting up for her tenants to come home... She could also be a lady-in-waiting, following her lady (me!) around everywhere. Or a nurse....

Apparently for a previous litter, someone chose the name of 'Mrs Cutie Pie'  I bet the people who adopted her changed her name pretty quickly!
Don't be so sure

Just joking - we'd have dropped the Mrs. Far too formal!

Re: What are you and your dogs up to today? Part 2

So I have to clean under the babys chin several times a day because he's a chubster and milk/puke runs down his chin and collects in his fat rolls and gets sore if I don't clean it properly and I was reminded of Sweetie pug! We're probably using the same baby wipes to it! Difference is, you'l...

Re: Sweetie

Little Miss Plonky-Plonk turns 9 tomorrow, according to her breeding papers. She's 'younger' now than when we got her in a terrible state almost 3 years ago. She jumps and runs and swims and leaps into our faces with her tongue out. She loves her morning walks and gumming on beef neck bones and work...

Re: What has your smart dog figured out?

These are great! Sweetie gets a frozen kong when we leave her home alone. For the most part, this is when I go to work in the mornings as OH leaves before I do. She learnt very quickly that the lady wearing perfume = kong time. To the point that I no longer put perfume on if I'm staying home so she ...

That awkward moment when you've got girl friends over for afternoon tea on the patio and your pug jumps in your lap and leaves behind a bit of... errr... 'residue'.

I have a slight fear of flying, based on my observation that heavy things tend to fall down when unsupported (oh please don't let us get ladies' undergarment spam now... ). I'm a bit scared too, but perfectly fine as long as I don't think about it. The problem is that suddenly gaining altit...

Sorry to hear about the various poop issues :| We're back from our NZ trip. Family visit and holiday were great, but the return flight home was not :? . Two aborted landing attempts due to foul weather, followed by a holding pattern, then an admission that the control tower couldn't even see the run...

Re: What are you and your dogs up to today? Part 2

Diane do you use a harness for Sandy? Sweetie had some hair off the top of her chest and we discovered it was the harness rubbing. We bought a harness that fitted differently and she was fine after that. Just an idea. Glad Jasper has quietened down a bit. I hate coming out of anaesthetic. It's bad e...

MPB you'll have to ask OH to share that recipe with us.

Poor Jasper. I do love those photos of him after the chase though. So lucky the vet will let you stay with him. Delladoo - I'm sorry to hear about the skin issues at your place - sounds awful. And Erica Sweetie would love to swap a nice snuggly night in minus 12 C weather for our sticky heat 24/7. B...

Well done Honey and Wuf! She is gorgeous. I know JRTs are small, but I had no idea just how teeny tiny Honey was!
