Hi all, had a bit of a look around and there seems to be some very well researched and considered articles. Already compelled to join and post. We've got a 6 year old Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador cross. He's a wonderful companion in the house, but is hugely afraid of the dark and other dogs/shad...

Thanks for the article. I was a little worried about 'rewarding' my staff/lab cross when he's fear-aggressive with other dogs, but it's got me back on the straight and narrow, I thought it was working, but we humans can be so quick to change approach sometimes

First post, just joined. This... explains... so... much... :oops: I was wondering why some days I was able to walk without much of an issue and the next he was tearing to get free of his harness despite being usually very responsive to my commands. Sadly almost every walk we see a dog off it's lead ...
