I would soften it up with some warm water on a rag, and maybe even a little tearless shampoo. try using a flea comb. they seem to always be able to pull those goopies out. if you dont have one, they sell them at petsmart for about $5 i believe. the best ones to use are actually the cat ones because ...

you should try greenies, they work wonders. a little pricey, but well worth it. otherwise, you can try a petrodex dog toothpaste. we use those at work in my grooming salon. it doesnt need to be scrubbed on the teeth, just rub it on, and it breaks down the plaque. a tube of that is pretty inexpensive

Im really grateful for everyones replies on here. Its been very hard coming to a decision for my dog gypsy, but unfortunately i can no longer keep her in our home. She threatens the lives of our other 2 pits and possibly ours as well. I love her with all my heart, and it hurts me more than anything ...
