Re: Nylabones
When Logan was a pup he had to see a specialist dentist, and she doesnt like the use of nylabones (or ordinary bones) as they can damage teeth and gums. For a dog that likes to chew, she reccommends kongs.

Re: Wasp stings
We had a similar thing when our boxer Harvey got stung in the mouth (idiot  ). He went into anaphalaxis, but was ok after a second trip to the vet. So i was really worried the other day, when out for a walk with Logan, a wasp landed on him and just started stinging him! I think it was 4 stings...

Thank you, am looking into getting a referral to Mark Elliott! We used to have his old partner, Nick Thompson to our horse.

Re: Harness suggestions
I dont know where you are, but in the UK we have one that the dog 'steps' into and does up round the waist. It doubles as a car safety harness too. Heres a link. http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product_grou ... pg_id=1181

Re: Clean Teeth
When my lab was about 6 months old he had to have a brace on to correct his lower canines position. He has an undershot jaw, and his canines were in danger of penetrating the palate. He had the brace to shift the canines out. I had to keep his mouth very clean and had to brush his teeth and use a mo...

Re: The Furminator?
I have one of these, and its fantastic on my labs coat, but the boxers coat is better with a rubber curry comb. His coat is very thin and fine, and the furminator cant get a decent purchase on it. But, for the lab, i love it!!

Re: Decent venison and potato diet?
Thanks guys for your replies, im in the UK. Its really hard to find a decent quality kibble at the best of times, but the only food i can get is imported from Italy. Im a bit scared to switch him to fresh food, any changes have to be done very slowly.

Decent venison and potato diet?
My dog has Eosinophilic IBD, and can only have venison and potato based dog food, with no other protien or carb source. The one hes on now is very expensive, at nearly 60 pounds a bag. I dont mind so much, but the quality has been questionable, with me finding lots of foreign bodies in it. Does anyo...
