Re: I'm needing some help
He is right beside me all the time and my mum said I have train him to be good while I'm doing my paper run, and I have to obey her (which puts me in a difficult position) I have been walking him more often in the area, which is great and he's getting used to the area much better and getting to know...

Re: I'm needing some help
If a dog is loose, I will hold the lead. Even if I wasn't asking him to sit and stay there will be times on a walk a dog is loose normally without their owners. I trust him and he trusts me, he is very obediant and I am very happy with his progress. If a dog attacked my dog, the owners would be at f...

Re: I'm needing some help
All I said was One verbal command " sit" and one verbal command "wait ", and he listened. I didn't have to keep my hand up and say " Wait, wait, wait, wait!" or even " Wait, wait!" just one verbal word for each command. I am so happy with the successful traini...

Re: I'm needing some help
I have created one of my own training methods, which works really well for me and my dog. We tried it out yesterday, and he went very very well. I taught him to sit and to wait, he already knew what the commands meant, so it was fairly easy. Thankfully most of the letter boxes were well spaced out, ...

Re: Help!
Hi there,
They are not the sort of owners that would train their dog. And I do not know how old the dog is.
They do listen and will try, but I have told them that they have to be dedicated and willing to work hard to get to their goal.

Re: Help!
Hi there, She is the only dog. She nips in aggressive way, so far, one worker just ignores her, and she does a little better. The dog has not attacked yet, but its just about at the point of that, especially if they are on her property. She is aggressive to dogs and people at home or on walks. The o...

Re: Weeing in the house
Alot of dogs wee in the house or chew things when their owners are out, its because they are under stress. Their " Mummy has gone out!" and they don't know what to do. Try to leave a treat out for her to help keep her mind off it. Also, make yourself look like your going out. Have your key...

Re: Leave it training works! I'm very impressed
Good stuff - keep up the good work though because a constant annoyance like kids putting their hands through the fence or people winding him up will prove hard to ignore forever. So go out there and pair people doing stuff, with YOU being super rewarding and giving him good thigns to do. This will ...

Leave it training works! I'm very impressed
Yesterday my collie, was a full on barking dog. I was informed by my neighbors that he was nipping the kids when they put their hands through our fence. My mum told me I have to do something. I decided to do some " leave it" training. Within five minuets he knew it! And I put a big hunk of...

Re: Impromptu Agility Course Ideas?
My dad is a plumber and a drainlayer! So I get all the PVC pipes and equipment I need- its just the building of it! My dog loves heights and see saws! He is currently jumping over a meter! Sometimes I like to add new things like bush jumps and use my mum's washing rack for him to practise goin...
