Thanks guys, today went well feeling possitive i will try the voice of doom next time i see a dog off lead that doesnt listen to their owner, when he doesnt listen to me ive been asking him to lay down for his treat and this is double effective so its all good right now smiles all round!!!

i disagree with the comment that boxers shouldnt be around small children i am only 19 but my mum has owned boxers since i was very very small and we were just fine

Ive just spoken to the rescue home i got him from and the lady that owns it is a professional trainer and she has offered to take him in for a few days asess him personally then suggest ways to help - she also runs a group i could attend. thanks again i have found the harness in argos just need the lead now so pets at home it is!!!

he doesnt pull so i dont need it for that reason but will help me if he does lunge for anything - seems like a good one i think
