Re: Compulsive Licking and Biting
he does have some kind of skin allergies, mainly in summer, and we've noticed that grass could make him, but the allergies shows up on his belly and all that area, not paws or legs. when he's red (coz he has red spots all over his down part, we bath him with especial shampoo and instantly is gone, b...

Compulsive Licking and Biting
Hello, It's been a while since i haven't post in here. I've got a problem, well, my younger dog has it, but again, it's my problem too. In four months he'll be 2 years old, it's a boxer (could be mixed breed). He's stressed and we're working on the reduction of it (we've done a great progress, but w...

Re: Wolf Philosophy
You've probably said this, but what i know is that, a man (sorry, can't never remember his name  ), did an study years and years ago about wolves and he shorted out that they live under a pack leader, and under dominance, but that was made with cautive wolves (did i say it correctly? sorry if ...

Re: My dog and the cat
You have to provide escape routes that the cat can take, where the dog cannot follow. Baby gates tend to work as most cats can either jump them or slip through or fit them so they can go under. If the dog will jump the gate you will need to put one gate above another to increase the height. Then, o...

Re: Boxer 18 months - food aggression
I'm not going to add much because people already said ways to work with this, and most important, don't ever take off his bowl. but, one question, apart from what ladybug asked about the hours of going out and in between. you took him when he was 14 months old. where was he till that time? do you ha...

Re: Is this aggressive behavior? How do I stop it?
Ok, read. First of all, the puppies get a free license to do whatever they want until their 4 months, so yours is still on that time, so all the corrections you're making at this point, you should stop them. if he's doing unpolite behaviour (and always keep in mind that what we find polite, dogs rea...
