pawing
My lab puppy who is 9 mos old has a habit of putting her paw on top of your hand or arm when you are petting her. Does anyone know what this behavior means? She's always very sweet and gentle when doing this but I was just curious if it was a good or bad thing?

deer antler chews & teeth
Just trying to get opinions...do you think deer antler chews are safe on a dog's teeth? My 9 month old lab LOVES her antlers but I was just concerned if they would eventually wear her teeth down or anything like that.

Re: Clicker Training - Heres How!
are you supposed to eventually stop using treats? Once the dog learns the command do you still click and treat? where do you go from there?

Re: random aggression issue
i do not act scared. i do one of two things. rub her chest and say "its ok its ok" and this will ususally calm her and end the behavior...or I will walk away and ignore her and sometimes put her in the kitchen (which is the room we've gaited off for potty training purposes). She calms down...

Yesterday we were playing in the living room with a ball, etc. She was laying on the floor chewing on a bone and casually got up, jumped up on the loveseat, and peed, staring at me the whole time. Re: 8 week year old Bichon crying advice
try not to go to him when he's crying at night because he's training you to come to him when he cried or barks. As hard as it is you have to let him cry so he'll learn that crying doesn't bring you to him. unless he has to go outside. if trained right, dogs usually like their crates and feel safe an...
