Tracy has worked in homeless service for nearly two decades and would often encounter people and their pets refusing shelter because they couldn't bring their pets in with them, she set out to change that and now operates one of the few shelters in the US that allows pets. When guests bring their pets into the shelter Tracy will work with them to help manage the stress that both pet and owner feel by providing simple training such as loose leash walking and enrichment activities. This is one of the many reasons Tracy decided to become a certified dog trainer through the Victoria Stillwell Academy.

Tracy enjoys that "ah ha" moment when both dog and their person learn to communicate with each other and their relationship blossoms.
