My name is Genevieve Emilio and I am a certified dog trainer dedicated to helping dog owners reach their training goals by using positive, force-free training methods. I founded The Polite Mutt Dog Training in September of 2022 after graduating from the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior. I have three dogs of my own and based my company around my reactive sheepadoodle, Delilah.

I understand that you might be struggling with your dog right now and feel quite frustrated. There’s a lot of conflicting information all over the internet and so many different dog trainers to choose from, making it really difficult to figure out what will really help your dog and what won’t. 

But what makes me special as a dog trainer is that I’ve been through the same things you are going through right now.
