Roverchase is a female and disabled founded, owned, and operated business.  Roverchase prides itself on our highly educated and experienced staff. Roverchase has no secret sauce, we are simply carefully educated and experienced professionals who have a firm grasp of the scientifically proven principles of behavior and learning.  Roverchase uses scientifically sound training protocols to teach all of the dogs in our training and behavior program from brand new puppies, to unruly adolescents, to dogs with severe behavior problems. The science-based methods we use are the ones recommended by the American Veterinary Society for Animal Behavior and follow the teachings of behavioral scientist and doctorate animal behaviorists across the globe.

Each and everything we do when training your dog is backed by peer-reviewed research and is always available to our clients upon request.  We love to be nerdy about dog behavior and nothing would thrill us more than to show you the studies behind why we have chosen to follow the science and adhere to a training and behavior modification protocol that is absent of the use of  force, intimidation, or fear to produce results. 

We are committed to the science, not the method.  Currently, the peer-reviewed science, the American Veterinary Society for Animal Behavior, and all major animal behavior, welfare, and care organizations in the world recommend training without the use of alpha/pack theory, force, intimidation, pain, fear, or aversive tools such as those listed above.  We feel we have an ethical and professional obligation to train within the recommendations of behavioral science and so that is what we do.  No secret sauce, no magic, just solid science, solid education, and solid experience.  Our method is highly effective, readily accessible for owners to implement at home regardless of age or skill level, and most importantly, kind to the animals who have trusted us to keep them safe and healthy.
