Laura Hills is the founder and owner of The Dogs’ Spot – Dog Training Center, in North Kansas City, Missouri. Laura has been teaching people how to train their dogs since 2004 and now leads a team of almost 20 Instructors, Assistant Instructors, and other support staff.

In 2021, Laura co-authored a book to help people with puppies called Your Puppy and You, a Step-by-Step Guide to Raising a Freak'n Awesome Dog.
Laura lives with five dogs: Fiona, Louie, Poppet, Dublin and Hamish; four cats: Leopold (Leo for short), Peaches, Kira, and Angus; and one very understanding husband, Kirby.
